The Thinking Clouds on Chiacchiere tra Prof: two episodes on GENIA, sustainability and "4 chiacchiere con..."

The Thinking Clouds took part in two episodes of Chiacchiere tra Prof., the eProf format where teachers and trainers explore tools and ideas for digital education. On both occasions Livio Ascione presented projects that combine innovation, accessibility and sustainability.

First episode: GENIA, e-learning and inclusion

In the first episode the focus was our e-learning platform GENIA: a project that continues to excite those who use it, because it combines accessibility in training with conversational intelligence tools and microlearning content.

With Marilena Ferraro (Literature teacher, Digital Animator, Trainer and Google Certified Trainer) we addressed a crucial theme for schools: bringing Agenda 2030 topics into the classroom with digital resources that are not only sound in content but truly inclusive and accessible for students with diverse needs. The episode explores how GENIA breaks down digital barriers, why inclusion is the first step towards true social sustainability, and concrete ideas for using it in Civics Education (and beyond).

Second episode: "4 chiacchiere con..." – Interviewing Plato or Freud in class

In the second episode, with Marilena Ferraro and Adele Leccia, we discussed the behind-the-scenes of the 4 chiacchiere con... app: an innovative all-Italian app that is changing the way we approach knowledge. Thanks to conversational artificial intelligence, students can ask direct questions to over 30 historical figures, from Dante to Freud. The app calibrates answers by age and level, making content accessible from primary to secondary school, in a protected environment with safe guard rails. A browser version for interactive whiteboards and classroom PCs is also on the way.

The goal is not to replace books, but to "reawaken" authors and make them companions on the learning journey. Watch the full interview:
