Thinking Clouds at the Educational Goal Festival: The Future of Digital Education Relies on Ecological Intelligence

Participation in Officine Sostenibili's Educational Goal Festival was an opportunity to share a clear vision of how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we design, deliver, and experience digital learning. In the "Ecological Intelligence" panel, we introduced the directions that will guide the evolution of educational systems in the coming years: personalized learning paths, more equitable access to resources, and seamless integration of content, data, and automation.
We addressed a key issue for us: the adoption of training models that not only use AI, but also meet measurable sustainability criteria. Ecological intelligence , in fact: solutions that monitor the environmental impact of their infrastructure, optimize consumption, and simultaneously ensure effective and continuous learning.
A particularly significant moment was the intervention of Eidelon , our robot dedicated to sustainability and outreach projects. Her presence was not simply a demonstration: Eidelon engaged with the audience, answered technical questions, and, with her customary touch of interactivity, demonstrated how the integration of conversational AI and robotics education can become a concrete bridge between theory and practice.
The panel closed with a light but symbolic question— "Who will win the championship?" Eidelon's answer, "The circular economy," reminded everyone that innovation can (and must) maintain a space for creativity, play, and awareness.
We continue to work towards a digital education that truly combines technology, sustainability, and active participation. The Festival was an important step in this direction, and an encouraging sign of the role that ecological intelligence will play in future educational pathways.
