The Cities of Diomedes: the app that tells the story of Sannio is now available on iOS and Android.
We're happy to announce that the Le Città di Diomede app, developed by The Thinking Clouds , is officially available for download on the App Store and Google Play . This is a significant milestone for a project born from the desire to enhance the Sannio Benevento area through technology and the power of stories.
An app to travel through history
Le Città di Diomede is a mobile app that guides users through the cities and villages of Sannio, transforming every visit into an immersive experience. Through an intuitive interface, users can explore the area by interacting with a Genius Loci , a historical or fictional character associated with the place, who recounts curiosities, events, and legends.
The app integrates interactive maps , audio guides , images , videos and intelligent conversational chat, offering a new and engaging way to experience local culture.
A project that combines culture and innovation
The app was created as part of the SITUS Pilot Project , promoted by the Territorial Pact of the Province of Benevento and supported by Confindustria Benevento . The goal is clear: to initiate an innovation process that puts the area's historical and cultural heritage at its center, making it accessible to digital tourists and new generations.
The project aims to promote sustainable cultural tourism, stimulate the local economy, and offer new opportunities to tell the story and enjoy the area through digital tools.
