The Thinking Clouds at SMAU Berlin

The Thinking Clouds lands in Berlin!
Thanks to SMAU, the leading event in the Innovation and Digital sectors for businesses, our startup had the opportunity to make itself known to the German market during two days packed with meetings and networking.
We presented a first prototype of Glooci, an app designed to improve the enjoyment of cultural heritage and enhance the territory by connecting visitors with the Genius Loci, the protector and soul of a place according to ancient Roman worship.
Glooci was born from the realization that small art centers like Benevento, our city, needed a boost to generate greater tourism. Not just local marketing, but emotional storytelling and interaction.
We thus proposed our solution to bring people closer to small cities of art through the development of applications that use artificial intelligence as a core technology for the delivery of multimedia and interactive content.
With Glooci, visitors can chat with the Genius Loci , receiving both customized multimedia content and asking questions to those who have personally experienced the history. The Genius Loci chatbot will provide information and content by assuming the identity of a historical figure who is a symbol of the place, adopting their language and personality.
The experience at SMAU Berlin was crucial for testing the German market's interest and for obtaining initial data on the effectiveness of the research and development process we've been involved in over the past few months studying interaction with virtual assistants.
Glooci , our app for visiting cultural heritage sites, is a step forward toward a more engaging exploration of the area, a tool that small art cities can use to generate tourism even where scheduling events is not possible.
At SMAU Berlin, however, we didn't just present our solution for cultural heritage: our offering is also available in the corporate environment for employee training and mentoring.
